I so wish I could’ve made it to Mobile World Congress this year, but it was a no go, so we’ll hope for next year.  The main reason?  All of the Android demos.  This one, caught by the boys at Engadget, is the SIM Technology U1 running Android.  Supposedly it was a bit rough, but hey it’s a demo, and the U1 is typically a Windows Mobile offering.  Specs includes quadband EDGE, tri-band HSDPA, a 2.8-inch VGA display, assisted GPS, 3 megapixel camera, VGA secondary camera, Wi-Fi, TV-out and a microSD slot for memory expansion.  Oh, and the display is supposed to be a touchscreen, but it wasn’t in working order.  All that said, I’d still buy one.
